Via Rosa 11
BACKGROUND
Via Rosa 11 Italian Restaurant & Market is a Bainbridge Islander favorite. Located in the Rolling Bay area of the island, Via Rosa 11 offers both dine-in services as well as take-home meals designed to bring the authentic handmade Italian cuisine home to your own kitchen.
CONCEPT
The experience interacting with the brand and restaurant should be a feeling of familiarity and authenticity as if you are on the streets of Italy picking up homemade pasta from an outdoor market or dining on the patio of a family-owned Italian restaurant. The visual language in the logo and throughout, draws from colors and tile patterns often seen through Italy, especially along the coast in order to reference the location of Via Rosa 11 serving the people of Bainbridge Island.
The pizza oven inside of the restaurant is tiled with a beautiful blue and white geometric pattern which was incorporated into this visual language.
The laid-back while elegant typeface Beverly Drive contributes to the feel of the restaurant being sophisticated in taste and authenticity but friendly and familiar in the experience you will have when visiting Via Rosa 11.
Taking home pasta sauce from the market or a freshly baked pizza should feel just as enjoyable as if you were dining in the restaurant environment. Keeping this in mind, takeout containers, pizza boxes and market packaging was designed be a charming and beautiful addition to making your Via Rosa 11 meal in your own kitchen.
